IPSOS, an international information and analysis firm, in partnership with the Belfer Center for Innovation& Social Impact of the 92Y, conducted a survey in multiple countries to determine awareness, participation and motivation levels across participating #GivingTuesday countries in 2017. While not all countries in the #GivingTuesday network were sampled, the study was able to examine trends and strategies that worked within the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Kenya, Russia, Singapore, Argentina, Czech Republic, Italy, India, and Norway.
The study was conducted online among the adult general public, between December 2017 and February 2018. Note: online populations may not be representative of total population in all countries.
The findings showed high levels or awareness and participation in some of the newest countries to join the movement.
