Gather your friends and neighbors by hosting a Welcome Table that inspires community-driven action and builds connections that foster understanding, compassion, and opportunities to better understand many of the issues we’re all grappling with in our daily lives. By inviting your community to the table, you can help create a more welcoming nation.

Becoming a U.S. citizen is one of the most significant milestones in an aspiring American’s journey. There are 8.7 million green card holders currently eligible to become U.S. citizens, yet fewer than 1 in 10 apply each year due to cost, complexity, or lack of support. You can change that, starting in your own neighborhood.

At the table, you and your guests can discover the dedication of aspiring Americans who are earning their shot at U.S. citizenship and explore ways to support them on their journey. From writing an encouraging letter to learning about volunteer opportunities, there are many ways to make a difference.

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to deepen your connection to newcomers in your neighborhood and engage your community, consider hosting a Welcome Table.
