The As We Are: A Disability Justice and Community Care conference is a fully accessible online conference by and for disabled people. This conference features guest speakers such as: Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha (Disability Justice 101), Koko Thomas (DeafBlind Cultures), Vo Vo (Trauma Informed Care), Galadriel Mozee (Black Lives Matter Memorial Garden), Dorian Taylor (Anti-Black Roots of Mental Health Systems), Nico Serra (Safer Protest Strategies), W. Kibler Hidalgo Rodriguez (Community Healing). The goal for the conference is the storytelling that will inspire participants to bring the 10 Principles of Disability Justice into their communities and their organizing work in order to make the world more accessible and just for all people.
