Cristina Simionescu, from Romania, believes that by understanding the interconnections between nature, people and can become more caring and empathetic. She developed an initiative to stimulate the civic conscience of children and youth, using science, local biodiversity and responsible consumption as tools. Young people will become agents of change for other community members and they will be guided to find solutions to problems they identify.
