Collin Sserunjogi

Collin co-founded the music collective Cajon Music House with fellow music lovers who thought there was a need for independent platforms and comfortable initiatives for musicians to use. Since that time he has successfully led the team to achieve numerous independently organized concerts in Kampala Uganda, produced several music productions for other musicians, created a compilation album called ‘My House Your House’, performed at private functions, and fostered several collaborations with local and international cultural institutions such as Alliance Francaise, German Cultural Center, Uganda Museum, Knight Frank, Total Petrol stations and others.

“Generosity means putting oneself in another's position in order to understand and possibly contribute to what they exactly need.”

Christmas at Cajon

Christmas at Cajon is a project for the music collective Cajon Music House. It is a fruit of our objective of creating numerous platforms for musicians and music lovers to comfortably commune and celebrate their passions and talents. Christmas at Cajon is a live music festival that is practiced in different parts of the country during the festive season and musicians are performing festive music in public places such as parks, traffic lights, public markets for free to the passersby while giving them gifts too. It is an initiative to promote generosity among musicians towards the public especially in a season of giving like Christmas time. Christmas at Cajon started in December 2019 and it usually runs for a month with most of the musicians being members of the collective but we also invite other musician membersto join us.
