Pay It Forward Project

  • Project Type: Building giving habits
  • Issue Area: Community building

‘Pay It Forward’ is a multidimensional campaign aimed at alleviating the burdens of the pandemic, in a small ways, to groups of people in St Lucia, here’s how:

1. Design and refurbishing of the Staff Lounge at the Respiratory Hospital–The ‘Pay it Forward’ campaign is giving back to St Lucia’s healthcare workers to show appreciation for their efforts and to let them know that they are not forgotten.

2. Provide Christmas care packages to the children at the New Beginnings Transit Home: The New Beginnings Transit Home is a temporary residential place of safety for children 18 years and below who are victims of child abuse and severe neglect, and who are in need of care and protection. This Christmas season is very different, so the campaign aims to bring them some cheer for the holidays.

3. Direct donations to individuals and families in need: Many people are ending the year in difficult situations and have no idea if/when they’ll bounce back.
