The Adopt-a-Family project is a collaboration with 28 other nonprofits to match donors with 550 families in need by leveraging technology in ways that are replicable for others who want to run a toy or donation drive. This is done through community support, a network of donors, and teams of volunteers. As of December 2020, the project has been able to reach 100 more families than the original goal including those who lost their homes in the Northern California CZU fires.
