New York, NY— November 19, 2025 — GivingTuesday and Stand Together Trust today announced a partnership to co-create a new, multi-year initiative — highlighting the countless ways people are already helping others in their communities and opening paths to solve problems together. By combining powerful storytelling with easy ways to participate, the partnership will inspire millions to see their contributions to their communities as part of our shared American experience.
The initiative will build on GivingTuesday’s proven distributed leadership model and expansive reach to mobilize Americans to make a difference through generosity and Stand Together Trust’s mission of working with individuals and organizations that are turning some of America’s most effective solutions into lasting social change.
GivingTuesday and Stand Together Trust will work with local leaders to amplify existing efforts and create new opportunities for people to work together to solve local challenges. These campaigns will demonstrate that coming together to improve our communities is an integral part of what makes us Americans.

According to research conducted by Populace, 70% of Americans across all demographics aspire to make a difference in their communities. GivingTuesday’s Civic Intent research shows that 80% of Americans are willing to help others whose beliefs and politics differ from their own.
GivingTuesday is uniquely positioned to spearhead this ambitious project given its powerful network of 400 communities that engage millions of people across the country and promote generosity through local donations and action. Last year alone, on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, the movement inspired $3.6 billion in donations on a single day and mobilized around 11% of Americans who also contributed their time, talent, and voice to help their communities.
