Yaser Alselwi from Republic of Yemen is a labour union and civic society activist. He has contributed to many collective informal initiatives at local level that aim at empowering communities and people in need. He uses networking and participatory approaches that are community-led.
Through his position as a part time facilitator at Civic Space Institute, Yaser shares knowledge and experience with many civic society activists and facilitates developing collective initiatives in field to apply knowledge learned. He also volunteers his time and knowledge to assist local emerging local nonprofits to improve their organizational capacities and contribute to community welfare.
