The Ideas Incubator focuses on reaching out to organizations that work with and support racialized and marginalized communities to help incubate their philanthropy plans for GivingTuesday and beyond, in a confidential session. But one hour isn’t enough. Each organization received follow up with resources and a year-long membership to the Association of Fundraising Professionals to continue learning and networking.
Organizations that participated have reported back the immediate impact the session has had on them, including changing the culture of philanthropy at their organizations.
