Neelam is an NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadet, is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree, and hopes to join the Indian Administrative Services in the future. In order to pursue her BA degree, Neelam had to work hard to overcome two of the biggest barriers that women face when pursuing higher education in her community: lack of transportation and paucity of safety measures. She is now working towards addressing these barriers.
