What inspired you to start giving?

My grandmother (granny) inspired me to start giving! She was always willing to donate to the church or help others even when she did not have the extra money. Her generosity flows through my family!

What does giving mean to you? Why do you continue to give your time, talents, money, or more to your community?

Giving means donating not just your money but your time and effort to something you really believe in. It is so much more then just a way to impress others or a tax deduction! I continue to give because it is in my blood and just can't stop! I love helping out!

What would you tell others who are looking to start giving back? Share a piece of advice will help them get started.

Start small! Nothing is too little or too much. If you start small then you can move on to bigger and better things!

Please share a favorite moment or story from when you volunteered or donated to an organization.

My all time favorite memory of donating to my organization was when I helped get Disney World tickets for our annual Chinese Auction. I am a huge Disney fan and this was such a large donation for our school!
