What inspired you to start giving?
It was a natural feeling of responsibility. I am very grateful for the opportunities I have had in my life and I would like to help other have the same opportunities I did.
What does giving mean to you?
Giving means sharing. Sharing equals happiness. Why do you continue to give your time, talents, money, or more to your community? I feel responsible and obliged to leave the world better than how I found it. It makes me happy to do this every day.
What would you tell others who are looking to start giving back?
Giving is sharing. Sharing is caring. It makes you feel happy and appreciate everything you have in your life. Share a piece of advice will help them get started. Get involved in movements, organizations that are of interest to you. I find this is more meaningful because is something you are passionate about.
Please share a favorite moment or story from when you volunteered or donated to an organization.
Every time I volunteer or come back from a community, training, whatever it is. I am the one who grows as a person. I always feel I am the one who receives and not the one who gives. I learn about hospitality, changing perspective, appreciating things..
