After a successful 2016 campaign, the General Tommy Leadership Institute and Museum is again asking donors to support outreach and educational programming which impacts the lives of thousands each year. One of the Museum’s programs is a world-class student leadership summit built around General Franks’ Four Stars of Leadership: character, common vision, communication and caring. Each year, Four Star Leadership offers 70 of the top high school students in the world a free opportunity to meet face-to-face with national and international leaders. Four Star alum Riley Juenemann recently detailed how Four Star Leadership prepared her for a successful collegiate career. This is what she had to say:

“I never could have envisioned the transformation that took place when I was at Four Star. From late night research for the ethics bowl [tournament] to learning invaluable lessons from an Olympic gold medalist, I immersed myself in every aspect of this program. The greatest aspect of the program however, was not a leadership module. Instead, it was my peers. This was the most supportive group of teenagers that I have ever encountered. Everyone’s fascinating accomplishments brought something unique to the table. When I stepped off the plane after my flight home, I had a new sense of self-confidence, a vastly broadened worldview, new lifelong friendships and a cutting-edge leadership tool belt to propel me towards a future of success.”

We hope to inspire more students like Riley expand their growing leadership capabilities. Your support on #GivingTuesday will help build the next generation of America’s leaders during Four Star Leadership 2018 and beyond. In addition to funding programming for students, your generous donation will also support the Museum's Mobile Classroom + Roadshow, provide regional leadership training workshops and develop educational traveling exhibits.
