Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center, located in St. Louis, MO, is so grateful to have this momma cat and her kittens finally out of harm's way and safe in our care. Late on a Friday night, this tiny calico mom and her eight kittens were dumped in the middle of a back road and left for dead. Frozen by fear, the mom stayed put huddled around her babies, offering them whatever protection she could from the cars endlessly whizzing past them. A couple spotted the frightened family while driving on that road and immediately pulled over. Unfortunately, they were too late to save two of the kittens who had been hit by an automobile what looked like minutes before. They brought the family to Animal House as soon as possible, where they immediately received medical attention, food, and shelter. They are a sweet family, and each kitten is loving and playful - much like their mom!

We’re so grateful for the good Samaritans who brought this mother and her little guys into our lives! We know they will find their forever homes soon. We look forward to matching them with families that are purr-fect for them!
