Meet Royce. Royce left behind a highly toxic relationship and is carrying the weight of substance abuse issues. Growing up with parents that never regulated their own alcoholism led him to believe life was naturally chaotic, and without stability or boundaries. Throughout his journey at HSC, Royce made several contacts with his peers around the campus and discovered a unit available in Watsonville. Royce moved into his new unit in June of 2017, and Phoebe, a case manager at HSC, ensured a healthy transition.
