In the month of October 2017 the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation provided $10,829.25 to 13 families afflicted with pancreatic cancer across the United States. NPCF helped them pay their mortgage/rent and utilities in order to provide some unwavering support to these families in need. These families are not only affected by pancreatic cancer, but are also living under poverty level and are in great need of our assistance to keep their roofs over their heads and the heat on through the winter months.
One family in particular the father was diagnosed on July 6, 2017 at the young age of 41.He and his wife, who is a stay at home mom, have two children ages 9 and 1. Due to the generosity of our donors, NPCF was able to pay their mortgage, electric bill and water bill so this family could concentrate on his treatment and spending his precious time with his wife and kids.
This is just one example of how we help those with pancreatic cancer with your generous donations. NPCF thanks all of our donors for your unwavering support of our pancreatic cancer community and mission.
