Nestled within the mountains of Upper Tract, West Virginia lies a vision of hope and healing; a vision to help broken spirituality find healing and for the weary to find rest. Now this vision is being realized through our passion project – Lodestar Mountain Inn at Smoke Hole. Its purpose is to bring healing, rest, and recovery to those battling the struggles of life and to help them find hope and encouragement as they are spiritually strengthened.

Last year, a dear friend of the ministry donated 524 acres of beautiful property that this retreat center will be built on. It is filled with stunning views, fishing ponds, and hiking trails. It is adjacent to the South Branch of the Potomac River, which is one of the best trout streams on the East Coast, and is ideal for stargazing, mountain bike riding, and canoeing.

A remodeled farmhouse, two new houses, and four cottages will offer 20 rooms. Visit the SWEA website at www.stevewingfield.org/about-us/the-inn-west-virginia-property/ for more detailed information about the inn.

We are fully invested in the vision God has given us. We are grateful for our first opportunity to participate in #GivingTuesday and look forward to seeing the lives that will be restored through the Lodestar Mountain Inn!
