Randolph College, a small private liberal arts college in Lynchburg, VA, is proud to be part of its third annual Giving Tuesday campaign on November 28.
This year's theme is 'Get ready to EMPOWER,' since the time, talent, and treasure of our volunteers and donors empower our students to become the thoughtful and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.
All contributions made as part of this campaign will go to the Annual Fund, which provides unrestricted funds for Randolph's greatest needs, such as merit- and need-based student scholarships; faculty professional development support; experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom; real-world internship options; and beautification initiatives that maintain our grounds and historic buildings.
Last year, the Randolph College Giving Tuesday campaign realized just over $200,000 from 365 donors. This year, the goal is to reach at least 500 donors on this day of giving.
In addition to the social media and email aspects of the campaign, there will be an effort to involve our on-campus community with an event hosted by the Alumnae and Alumni Office and a core group of student volunteers.
When our donors and volunteers unite in support of our students, faculty, and staff, they sustain our traditions, inspire our campus community in the important work they do to better our world, and empower our students on their path to discovering 'the life more abundant.'
