The Arizona Southwest Heritage Foundation is proud to partner with #GivingTuesday on December 1 to raise a portion of our goal to fund tower construction for a new low-powered FM radio station.

KPCR-FM will deliver local news, views and music to residents, visitors, students and working people of Central Phoenix.

You can be a part of this exciting and unique low-power FM station by making a tax deductible donation, or volunteering your time on our staff or board of directors.

On #GivingTuesday, we begin our “share and compare” preview of future programming ideas for KPCR-FM, or as we like to call it The Voice of the Village in the Heart of the City.

We want to present programming that is new, different, educational and entertaining while at the same time is important, informative and interesting to our listeners.

For this reason, we have decided that there are certain kinds of programming which we will not air:  programming which is hateful, demeaning or discriminatory; programming which can be heard on many other radio outlets including religious, top forty, and country & western formats; and programming which might insult the intelligence of our listeners.

So, if you have programming ideas that could appeal to our broadcast community and that fit within our guidelines, then please visit and post your suggestions starting December 1, 2015 a.k.a. #GivingTuesday.

Thank you!
