It's going to be an epic showdown on and off the field!
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns.
Baltimore vs. Cleveland
On #GivingTuesday, December 1, the Pratt Library is challenging the Cleveland Public Library to a fund-raising battle. The library system that raises the most donations online on December 1 will be crowned Book Bowl champions.
A lot is at stake: If the Pratt Library wins, the director of the Cleveland Public Library will have to recite Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" in a Ravens jersey in the middle of their historic Main Library. If we lose, Pratt CEO Carla Hayden and staff will sing "Who Let the Dogs Out" wearing dog masks in the Central Library Main Hall. Video will be posted on YouTube.
The competition begins during kick-off of the Ravens-Browns game on Monday Night Football on November 30.
"This is going to be a win-win for both library systems," said Carla D. Hayden, Pratt Library's Chief Executive Officer. "Both the Pratt Library and Cleveland Public Library are vital to each city by providing free access to information, programs and services. Your generosity will allow us to continue to support Baltimore families."
"Like" the Pratt Library on Facebook or on Twitter at @prattlibrary and use hashtags #BookBowl and #GivingTuesday to receive updates. Online donations for the BookBowl will start at 8:30pm on November 30. Let's beat Cleveland on and off the field!
